Reign in my life

I find my self stuck in this place...
Where I need more of you Father,
Take this hindrance away from me,
Or else let me learn from it.

I wish to see you, to hear from you,
I wish to reach deep into the heavens,
to find water for my soul.
After all, who is there but you?

So I pray, and ask,
hear my voice, My Lord and God,
Take this life, and make it yours
Make my life of light,
Direct my paths and remind me of your ways,
Daily,
Weekly,
Yearly.

For I am a forgetful person,
Carve them in my heart,
That if I may forget all, I will remember only you.
You are the one who makes a way,
When all else fades.

I give you thanks none the less,
For you are a Good God,
You are my Good Shepherd.
If I lose my feet, I know you're there.

So take this life, and make it yours.
Today and forever more,
May you reign above all else.
Your Holiness, Your Majesty,
King of Kings and Lord of lords.
