Do you Trust me?

This is written at the back of my bible, a short word that I got from the Lord on Sunday, and I wanted to share it with all of you. It does not only apply to me, but to every one, in every situation, what ever storms you might be going through, or whatever bliss, either way, it starts with this:

Do you Trust me?
Take my hand and follow Me. For I will make you more than you require.
For Death has been defeated and the Law has been Fulfilled.

I bled and died. I rose and Fulfilled.
I have given and you have taken.
If you Trust Me.
Take my hand and I AM.

Too busy, too occupied, too everything, including anxious with No time

Luke 10:40-42

New Century Version (NCV)
40 But Martha was busy with all the work to be done. She went in and said, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me alone to do all the work? Tell her to help me.”
41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things. 42 Only one thing is important. Mary has chosen the better thing, and it will never be taken away from her.”

Sometimes, it's better just to rest. In this world we do so many things, not only our daily tasks, exams, tests, work, payment, tax, etc... But also, we do a lot in church, trying to setup things, trying to make things seem more attractive, trying not to make it boring, trying to make it attractive, trying this and that running around, and some how or another we end up drained, weighted down, and plain right tired. In a sense, if we were to just read verse 40 alone, I believe we all would be in full empathy with Martha, why is it, that we are doing everything?

Notice, how Jesus responds, you are worried and upset about many things, meaning you are anxious, you're scared of something.. well Stop, stop for a while, and rest, don't rest in a lazy way, where a sluggard would fold his arms and really not do a thing, but when you rest, rest in the Lord, for it is written:

Matthew 11:28

Amplified Bible (AMP)
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]

I like the way the Message translation puts it:

Matthew 11:28

The Message (MSG)
28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

Oh what a blessing and glorious thing! Imagine that, real rest, walk with him and watching how He does it, learning by the UNFORCED rhythms of grace! Hallelujah! I don't know about you, but that makes me extremely excited. Now again, it does not mean you will be lazy, and just sleep, for if you sleep how do you watch? Jesus asked His diciples to keep watch and they fell asleep, He had to wake them again, and yet they fell asleep again, obviously sleeping isn't the kind of rest you want, ,but of course it's a type of rest you will have and I'll guarantee you will have it because He says in Psalms 127:
It is vain for you to rise up early,
To sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows;
For so He gives His beloved sleep.

Now there is one more thing to mention about this, over working mode we get into, with the not enough time mode we enter, and wishing more hours when there is only equally given 24 hours a day, with a bonus every  4 years of an extra 24 hours. That unless what we do, in all we do, if it be trying to draw people in, progress in our career, build a family, or what not, if we're too busy doing that, and we forget all about God, we do not choose the more important thing, to sit and listen, to sit and watch, to learn in the unforced rhythms of grace, but choose to worry and be anxious about the future, choose to try to work so hard but feel down right unappreciated, choose to take God out of the equation, all we do will be in vain, and to be honest, you'll reach a point and say, why am I doing all this?

Psalm 127 :1 (AMP)
Except the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain

Trust me when I say this, it is better to rest in the Lord than labour in vain, it is better to walk with the Lord than to run in the wind, it is better to wait upon the Lord than to trying to make a legacy. I urge you all, brothers and sisters, Look to Him, look to the Lord in all He has done, and spend some time with Him, dine with Him, soak yourself in the word of God, let it go into the deepest parts of your spirit, and let it come out of you like living waters, He who is thirsty Go! for He will satisfy your thirsty, your hunger, for This man Jesus Christ, Has done it all for us, now Go, Drink!

So I leave you with this:

Isaiah 40

New International Version (NIV)
28 Do you not know?
    Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Many Blessings and love,
-Chris

The Good Shepherd

One thing that  I do know, I was blind, and now I see!

Lyrics

Verse
Who opens the eyes of the blind?
Who cares for the lost and sets
the captives free,
you who could have cast the first stone,
Stayed your hand and said,
'Neither do I condemn you.'

Chorus
I hear a voice, calling my name,
I see a door with pastures and all,
you're my shepherd, you're my all.
Who laid down His life, for the sake of all.

Verse
Who brings light into the darkness?
who fights with love against all hate?
Overcame death and sealed me in love.
The rock that the builders rejected,
became my corner stone.

Chorus
Bridge
With all your power,
With all your might,
Control of life, yet in all you could have done,
you still choose, to give your life,
so that I might find life

Friendship

I am pretty glad to have a lot of friends in my life, especially all my brothers and sisters, I really do love you all. the joy I have and excitement that wells up in me when sunday or Saturday comes where I get to meet you guys, really makes me happy.

This isn't like my usual posts, but really I just like to extend my thanks to all of you, I don't think we normally think of giving a thanks or appreciation in our daily lives, but for this, I am always glad to have all of you in my life. yea, some of you might have drifted ways with me, but I'll still put you into my list of appreciations, coz each person has made a difference in my life, and I believe God put you there for a reason. do forgive me if I have ever insulted you unintentionally, if I did it intentionally it was probably a joke :P so laught wahahaa!

Friends,
You're like the unpredictable skies, sometimes you rain and cool the summer heat of anger,
some times you are the scorching heat itself that leaves a nice tan, and sometimes some burns that heal.
sometimes you're the cloud that shades just on time, and sometimes you make me dance in the storm.
But be it if you're far or near, old or new, lost or close, I appreciate the flavours you bring :).

Thank you!

-Chris
