Where He calls there is no lack

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
James 1:5

I'll be honest here, I didn't plan to start with this verse, but since it came, then it has come. There is something amazing to take note of within the ministry of Christ, that is boldness, humility and total assurance. I am not writing this as a prosperity post, nor am I going against anything about God prospering us, but I'd like to shift the focus a little here.

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."- Philippians 4:19

We need to know one thing is true, our God is a great God, able to provide, and is rich, and never is He once an unwilling person to give, but the focus should not be on riches, but on God, Him and Christ Jesus, let our eyes be fixed on Him and I can guarantee all these things will be most assuredly added.

"Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met." - Matthew 6:33 TMB

Well above is the more famous verse of seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added, but this is the message version, I liked the way they said, steep your life in God basically, to consider God in all things, to follow Him first, and not to worry or focus so much on lack, or prosperity, because you know it'll always be there.

We can see that Christ has always cared about little things, even when His time was not yet ready He turned water into wine, to help salvage a wedding ceremony, whilst he could simply of not done it at all. while the miracle might be an amazing thing, and the blessing tremendous, all glory should still go back to God, our focus and our thanks giving should be of that towards God in all things, don't seek the blessing, seek the blesser.

"One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret,[a] the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God. He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, 10 and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.
Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” 11 So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him." -Luke 5:1-11

Learn this, that Jesus first used the boat, prospered the fisher men with a large catch, and asked them to follow Him, now there's something amazing about this very fact, imagine, Jesus came to you, literally gave you a lottery ticket that made you just strike the jackpot, now imagine this, you ditch that jackpot and literally leave it all behind, and just follow the man who helped you get the jackpot to begin with, this is exactly what you can see Simon(peter), James and John did on that day, a jackpot of fishes, yea it was amazing, yeap they were set for life, BUT there stood a man who was worth much more than all of these, no there stood the man who literally blessed them beyond all they could ever dream of, taking off selfishness and green, following Christ in Humility, risking all of it, but having faith of the full assurance that if this man could bring a boat sinking net breaking experience, there's nothing to really fear when following Him.

"Then Jesus said to them, "When I sent you out with no money bag, or traveler's bag, or sandals, you didn't lack anything, did you?" They replied, "Nothing." "- Luke 22:35

So I say to you, no matter the situation, When Christ sends you to do anything , there is no lack, follow what He has commanded, do what He has said, and run after His heart, For blessings and love, kindness and grace, comes from God, and God loves to give to those whom He loves, but always no matter that never let our eyes stick to the blessings, but always to Christ.

I will leave you with this:

""24 No one can serve two masters. The person will hate one master and love the other, or will follow one master and refuse to follow the other. You cannot serve both God and worldly riches.
25 “So I tell you, don’t worry about the food or drink you need to live, or about the clothes you need for your body. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothes. 26 Look at the birds in the air. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, but your heavenly Father feeds them. And you know that you are worth much more than the birds. 27 You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it.
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? Look at how the lilies in the field grow. They don’t work or make clothes for themselves. 29 But I tell you that even Solomon with his riches was not dressed as beautifully as one of these flowers. 30 God clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today but tomorrow is thrown into the fire. So you can be even more sure that God will clothe you. Don’t have so little faith! 31 Don’t worry and say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ 32 The people who don’t know God keep trying to get these things, and your Father in heaven knows you need them. 33 Seek first God’s kingdom and what God wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well. 34 So don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Matthew 6:24-34

Suicide...

My dear friend, if you somehow have stumbled upon this blog for whatever reason, I want you to know that it was by no accident, in fact I believe I am writing this particular post for someone right now. Whoever you are, know that God loves you and has not abandoned you even if everything in this world seems so distant and lost for cause.

He knows the pains you are going through, how deep and dark the place is, He has heard your cries of how much you hate yourself and how much you cannot stand the fakeness of this world, how you might even find that some Christians seem very surface level, not genuine and judgemental. But I want you to know this, you are no mistake, your purpose if you have found it or not, exists, and God calls you, in fact He says I knock on the door of every heart and those who open it I will come in and dine with, So I urge you, let your heart open, and let Him in, I will by far not say that it'll be an easy road, but no roads are really easy, yet in all these things you will most assuredly with God have full victory through the Love He has for you through Christ. Drop your will to rid your life, and realise you were made as a masterpiece a poiema, no flaw in what God has made you to be, you are indeed a pleasant sight Him, Oh so you say you have done things that can't be forgiven, things so bad that you yourself can't forgive yourself and that theres no way God can forgive you or would want to? well here's the hard facts, there is no sin greater than the blood of Christ that is able to wipe you completely clean, no moment which He has not once thought of you and said yeap, what Christ did was not enough. I can only say this, through one mans sin death entered the world, but through one mans death life has been given and more abundantly.

So Stop! don't take your life, don't give up, and no God is not in hatred wit you, in any way, no He does not naturally hate you, nor does He want to hate you. Yes you are worth something, So I want you to earnestly from your heart hear this. With Christ all things are possible, and no sin has ever overcome you but that which is common to man, and God will always make a way in such situations. life is worth more than, what we have given up on, and love is much deeper than what we think it to be. this world may seem very superficial but I tell you today, God is not, He is as real as you can get.

So I urge you, take a chance and live your life, say this prayer, God I repent from all my sins, I believe that what Christ has done for me on the  ross has wiped out all my sins, and I forgive myself and all those who have wronged me, I thank you that I am a masterpiece of yours, and invite you in to dine with me, I open my heart to you, change me and mold me, to be full of your purpose, to learn love and learn to love, I praise your name forever more, please lead me to your people to guide and grow me, Amen.

Today you have become a child of Christ or if you led astray before you have come back, heavens are celebrating you. I encourage you if you haven't said the prayer to give God a chance, coz He gave you a chance, I pray you will find a great community to grow, I encourage you to go to dailyaudiobible.com and check it out. If you happen to be in Malaysia, Selangor you can try come to poiema in pelangi sentral 1st floor, opposite home depot. you may also comment on this if you want and I can also email you and stuff.##Always know you are loved my friend, and I do not believe anyone in this world should deserve to die, you are a star, you can get out  f any situation your in now, and most definitely you are not coming here by any accidental form.

Standing within the Storms

As the storms brew around me, and the wind may chase every last leaf from this place,
Still my heart has found pure peace, within your love and grace.
Chaos may be before me, but your word stands stronger, When spoken; life appears.
I know that nothing is greater than you, so in this storm and the whirlwinds of life, I will stand on you my solid rock.

For your promises are true, unshakening is the ground my feet stands on,
The solid rock, the corner stone, the one whom I trust, and know will never disappoint.
I say I believe, I say I will, You say you've done, and the victory is before and behind,
For there is only one victory which has been done.

I believe I believe, your word stands forever, not one bit a moment late will you ever be my Lord, my God.
For your truths lie before me, and your love wraps around me,
Like a blanket in a cold cold place, like a cool breeze in the hot summer blaze,
So contrasting yet, so comforting.

This storm is nothing before you God, This storm is just nothing at all.
I speak Peace to it, that it maybe still, that your peace be upon this whole place.
Your truth and love abound so much,
No way, no other route can I take.
Halleluja Halleluja,
Forever my heart will say.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
You reign forever more!

A Victorious Life to remember

It was at night, and the mighty Egyptians lost all their first born(Exodus12:29-30), the ones that were speaking lowly to the Israelites had their thoughts turn to good(Exodus12:36). He led them out of Egypt with a command of a feast of the unleavened bread(Exodus12:17), and set them free. He led them all the way, the best way, though it was not the shortest(Exodus13:17,21). After which the Egyptians became stubborn again, in realization of losing all their slaves, chased them. But still the people of Israel were moving on victoriously(Exodus14:8). Across the red sea with full protection did the LORD lead them and to the death of the Egyptians who tried to chase them, Victory, Victory, Victory!(Exodus13-31).

Though above is a very much summarized version of the night the LORD set free His people from Egypt, it is good to notice, that the LORD was always with them, it's also good to see that Victory was all by the LORD's hand and not by any one else, and by taking the feast they were proclaiming the LORD's victory that was given to them through this grand escape, yes what a victorious life to remember, to think about, to hear generation after generation, to realize, to behold, and to all these the Israelites will always remember...

So what does this have to do with us Christians you may ask?

Well let me bring you to what and where we are at now, we might have persecutions, long or short, doesn't matter, that chase us all the way, but never caught us, but the danger is always there:

"35 Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?
36 Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us." -Romans 8:35-37

Yea, that's right, we're always in danger, but none of this will separate us from the love of Christ, more over we can walk on victoriously as did the Israelites. Now how should we proclaim his victory?

"24 And when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and said, Take, eat. This is My body, which is broken for you. Do this to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance.
25 Similarly when supper was ended, He took the cup also, saying, This cup is the new covenant [ratified and established] in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink [it], to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance.
26 For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are representing and signifying and proclaiming the fact of the Lord’s death until He comes [again]." -1 Corinthians 11:24-26

Now don't get me wrong, this is not a law, but a celebration. to Proclaim his death on the cross, to proclaim the new covenant we have, to proclaim the victory He has accomplished on the cross, for this is our God, Compassionate and loving, never failing to care for those who love Him, calling out loud to the lost, and continuously searching. Our God is truly great, let's praise Him for Christ's death is truly a Victory to remember :)
